I think it was at a brain tumor conference in Florida in 2006 (?) that I saw Lanette in the lobby of my hotel – sitting in an overstuffed chair, surrounded with greeting cards she was preparing for some Brain Buddies.

Later at home, I went to this website, and became a Brain Buddy myself. I then forgot all about joining (forgetting is my specialty now!), until the day a card with cool stickers all over it came to wish me a happy birthday! I still have the card, and my friends in Arizona!

Her organization is making a big difference – it helped me! Oh, and I am now 13 1/2 years post treatment! Thank you, thank you!!!
